It is with much sadness we announce that Robert O. Klepfer, Jr. died peacefully at Wake Forest Baptist Cancer Center surrounded by his family on Friday, October 24, 2025. For over 54 years, Bob has led the Foundation, beginning as a part-time Executive Director while a partner at the law firm of Stern, Rendleman and Clark, and, upon his retirement from the law firm, transitioning to full-time Executive Director. As Executive Director of the Foundation, Bob was a special man for the non-profit community of Guilford County. He served with dedication those who needed assistance of any kind, making sure the Board of Directors had the information they needed to make decisions regarding the grant requests.
